Big players own the middle. We work the edges.

Go Niche Labs looks for the openings that established markets leave behind: customers the dominant companies underserve, overcharge, or overlook. When an opening is real, we build a focused business to fill it.

Dominant company Gap. Select one. Illustrative examples

Priced for enterprises, used by five people

The dominant software suite is built for companies with hundreds of seats. A small clinic or studio pays for features it never opens. A lean version at a fraction of the price wins them.

Scale makes a company good at the middle of a market. The edges, where customers want something narrower, cheaper, or more exact, cost more to serve than they earn. Those edges are where Go Niche Labs works.

How we find a gap

We start with evidence, not hunches. Every gap we pursue has to survive four checks before we build anything.

  1. Map the market

Who dominates, what they charge, who they build for, and which customers they treat as an afterthought.

  2. Listen where people complain

Reviews, forums, support threads, and cancellation reasons. Repeated frustration is the clearest sign of an unmet need.

  3. Size the pocket

Big enough to support a real business, small enough that the giants won't bother to chase it.

  4. Test narrow, then build

A landing page, a pre-order, or a slim first version. If customers show up, we build. If not, we've spent little and learned a lot.

What counts as a gap

Not every underserved corner is a business. These are the signals we look for, and the ones that make us walk away.

Worth entering

  • A group of customers paying for features they never use
  • Steady complaints about the leader's price, support, or fit
  • Repeat or recurring purchases, not one-off sales
  • Serving them is unprofitable at the incumbent's scale

Walk away

  • A need nobody is willing to pay to solve
  • A niche the leader could add as a feature next quarter
  • An audience too small to buy more than once
  • A corner already crowded with other niche players
